STRENGTH & HONOR WORKSHOP SERIES
Designed to complement your regular Honor Barre practice, Strength & Honor uses heavier weights. You will learn and use proper lifting technique and move with intention at a slower pace to help you stimulate muscle growth and strength. Our seasoned instructors will guide you through a purposeful, balanced and alignment-driven program.
Each 45-minute session includes 3 successive and balanced “blocks” with repetitive movements to ultimately achieve “progressive overload”. The final block includes both strength work and a non-weighted cardio component to boost aerobic fitness and stamina.
If you’ve never tried using heavier weights before, you shouldn’t be intimidated! It’s the Honor Barre way to offer individualized attention, modifications in a supportive environment.

You will take one 30 min. class at each studio, with a 10-minute break between rotations. Afterward, we’ll gather at ride bar to celebrate our hard work!
Why Elizabeth House?
Oakland Elizabeth House offers a residence to women with children who have experienced poverty of homelessness, violence, and addiction, they provide housing, education, employment, and health/wellness resources.
